Visitor Information


Inmates may employ their own defense counsel.  If an inmate is indigent, he/she may petition the Court for an appointed attorney.  Attorney's may visit with prisoners in person and can schedule appointments to see their clients through Central Control at 307-532-5917.


Visits are permitted only on visiting days at times scheduled.  Persons must be 16 years of age or older to visit.  Children under the age of 16 years are not allowed in the lobby during visitation hours! Visitors under the age of 18 are required to have a parent or guardian with them during the visitation process.  Visitors are required to show photo identification upon arriving for a visit each and every time.  All visitors will access this facility through the front lobby and are not allowed in any other part of the building unless accompanied by a deputy.  Contact visits are not permitted.  Inmates are allowed 30 minutes each visitation day for visits.  Each visit is given upon a first-come/first-serve basis.  Visitation times are as follows:

County/ Federal Males

Tuesday - Friday     2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday & Monday   7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.


Tuesday - Friday     12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Sunday - Monday     6:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m.

Visitors living over 100 miles from this facility are allowed to arrange for a special visit.  the special visit must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance.  Special visits are allowed only on Saturdays.  A visit may be terminated or denied if visitors are under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, there is insufficient space available, refusal of the visitor to submit to search requirements, refusal or failure to produce proper identification, violation of any facility rule by prisoner or visitor, disruptive behavior or when the activities of the facility require that visitation be canceled.
