Goshen County Sheriffs Search & Rescue is an all volunteer, non-profit team. We have members that range from the farm community, industry, law enforcement, school teachers, and pilots...just to name a few. Our guiding authority is under the Sheriff of Goshen County. Members have been trained in SAR Tech II, Managing the Lost Person Incident, ropes, knots, and repelling. Dogs teams are trained and certified in trailing and tracking. In addition, we have certified EMT's & and EMT-I's certified in advanced life support.
