The Goshen County Sheriff's Patrol Division is dedicated to increasing public safety by creating safe neighborhoods and public places. Deputies in the Patrol Division respond to calls for service from the public and investigate misdemeanor and felony crimes.

The Patrol Division provides law enforcement services to all unincorporated areas of Goshen County and is comprised of ten patrol deputies including command staff. 

Patrol deputies are responsible for protecting approximately 2200 square miles of land and more than 1100 miles of roads in the county.  In addition, they patrol over 113 miles of state highways and assist the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Wyoming Game and Fish, Wyoming State Parks and local municipal police forces.
